Celebrating 57 years of breeding horses

ABOUT US

Discover what Success can deliver ...

Success Stud prides itself on the comprehensive services it provides. Together with their professional staff, Mary and Jackie Gibson have many years experience in the care of horses at all stages, as they progress from a mere embryo on the ultrasound, to a professionally presented yearling in the sales ring.

As a transport semen mare base, we cater for those breeders wishing to breed to almost any stallion available throughout the world (including Australia, US and New Zealand), with either chilled or frozen semen. As the techniques and technologies are ever progressing in the breeding industry, we are constantly reviewing and advancing our knowledge and procedures, to provide the very best conception results for our client's brood mares.

A 24 hour foaling station, with a nightwatch person, is in operation from September through until January, to help ensure the safe delivery of your valuable foals. A highly qualified vet is also on 24 hour call.

Success Stud has earnt an enviable reputation for the preparation and presentation of yearlings at the annual sales conducted throughout Australasia. This reputation has led to many repeat clients and buyers, as well as awards, top priced yearlings and race winners.

The property is pasture improved and fenced to the highest of standards. Regular soil testing is conducted to ensure a high nutrient content is present. Hand feeding to complement the wellbeing of stock is monitored closely. At Success Stud, your valuable mares and young stock will have every opportunity to grow to their full potential.

Ideally located between Sydney and Melbourne, the Young based property

is in the heart of Riverina horse country.

Success Stud is a highly progressive breeding operation owned and managed by the Gibson family, who have over 57 years of experience with equine breeding.

meet the staff

The people behind Success ... The Gibson Family.

It is often said that a place is only as good as it's people.

If that's the case Success Stud must be a fantastic place due to it's people.

Success Stud is a family business that runs like a family, with people caring and sharing together, to make their successes work together.

Like a family they have their ups and downs, but at the end of the day all things are resolved due to a family style communication between each other.

This results in a business, where you can be reassured that you, the client, will get that little bit extra. Extra in care, and in the end you too become a family member.

A win-win situation for one and all. In what some of us do winning can sometimes be very important.

Take a moment and get to know them a little better. You'll be really glad that you did!
