 THE PEOPLE BEHIND SUCCESS

Updated - 28 July, 2010

The Gibson Family

The Gibson Family

It is often said that a place is only as good as it's people. If that's the case Success Stud must be a fantastic place due to it's people.

Success Stud is a family business that runs like a family, with people caring and sharing together to make their successes work together.

Like a family they have their ups and downs, but at the end of the day all things are resolved due to a family style communication between each other.

This results in a business, where you can be reassured that you, the client will get that little bit extra. Extra in care, and in the end you too become a family member.  A win win situation for one and all. In what some of us do winning can sometimes be very important.

Pictured on the left is the Gibson clan, pictured below are the people of Success, take a moment and get to know them a little better.

You'll be really glad that you did!

Faye Mair

Faye will again join us this yearling prep season, with her vast experience in Western Horse showing she is a valued member of the team.

During the breeding season Faye joins our stud staff and plays an integral role with client relations and assisting Jackie with clerical duties.

Rob Strachan – Gardener

Rob has only recently joined the team here at Success, bringing with him a wealth of horticultural knowledge.

He’s proving to be handy with a hammer as well.

Yasmin Guymer - Stud Book keeper

Yasmin has been our stud Book keeper for the past 9 years.

Although it has been known for her to leave the office to block some mares or ride on the back of the bike to assist in someway - luckily Yasmin comes from a farming family.

Recently she and partner Peter purchased a large property to run sheep and grow Lucerne crops, we are fortunate that Yasmin still travels to the stud to keep our records up to date.

Garry Green - Yearling Prep Attendant

Again this season Garry will take up his very important role as Yearling Prep Attendant.

Garry is a keen and very experienced horseman and likes nothing better than heading up to the Snowy Mountains to ride and enjoy the scenery.

Craig(Rowley)Cross  Foaling Attendant

Rowley brings with him a wealth of experience with horses and general farming and takes the role of Foaling Attendant.

As a Master Farrier – Rowley will no doubt be kept busy.

We are delighted to have him on the staff.

Robin Stevens - Stud Courier

Robin is once again our stud courier for the season.

Robin is an absolute treasure and we truly value her dedication to her job as stud courier.

During the busy breeding period, Robin travels daily to the airport to collect and dispatch the transported semen.

Last season Robin clocked up an incredible 82 trips to Canberra Airport.
