The people behind Success
The Gibson Family

It is often said that a place is only as good as it's people. If that's the case Success Stud must be a fantastic place due to it's people.

Success Stud is a family business that runs like a family, with people caring and sharing together, to make their successes work together.

Like a family they have their ups and downs, but at the end of the day all things are resolved due to a family style communication between each other.

This results in a business, where you can be reassured that you, the client, will get that little bit extra. Extra in care, and in the end you too become a family member. A win-win situation for one and all. In what some of us do winning can sometimes be very important.

Pictured here is the Gibson clan (John, Mary and Jackie). Pictured below are the other people of Success. Take a moment and get to know them a little better.

You'll be really glad that you did!

Yasmin Guymer
Stud Bookkeeper

Yasmin has been our stud bookkeeper for the past 10 years; although it has been known for her to leave the office to block some mares or ride on the back of the bike to assist in someway. Luckily Yasmin comes from a farming family.

Yasmin and her partner Peter purchased a large property to run sheep and grow Lucerne crops. We are fortunate that Yasmin still takes the time to travel to the stud, to keep our records up to date.

Craig (Rowley) Cross
Foaling Attendant

Rowley brings with him a wealth of experience with horses and general farming and takes the role of Foaling Attendant.

As a Master Farrier, Rowley will no doubt be kept busy. We are delighted to have him on the staff.

Grant Mair
Stud Courier

Grant is once again our stud courier for the season. During the busy breeding period, Grant travels daily to the airport, to collect and dispatch the transported semen. Grant is a qualified saddler and keen rodeo competitor.

Grant is an absolute treasure and we truly value his dedication to his job as stud courier.

When the reproduction season has completed, he then turns his hand to yearling prep.

Gary Moles (Gaz)

Gary has been an integral member of our team for the past 5 breeding seasons.

Gary, when not filling his role as broodmare band leader, can be found supporting Two Eye See at the races.

Craig McCoy
Stud Farrier

Craig and his young family have recently moved to the Young area from Goulburn. Craig brings to Success a wealth of knowledge and commitment in farrier skills.

Dr David Woodward BVSc Hon 11
Stud Vet

David first arrived in Young back in 2004 after working in Darwin and other states of Australia. In 2008 he ventured overseas to the United Kingdom and then to Dubai to work in the Crown Princes' Dubai Equine Hospital.

Luckily for us David then returned home to become a partner in the Young Vet Clinic. David has a passion for equine reproduction and is a valuable member of the team here at Success.
