The first leg of the APG sale series is done and dusted. We are delighted to report our outstanding Muscle Beach colt sold to RED Industries (Rob Davis) for $55,000.00. Rob's mission at the sale was to secure this colt and we are appreciative of his repeat business.
It was a great day there on Friday at the Melbourne APG sale. Now we're already looking ahead to the Sydney APG sales this weekend. Hope to see some of you there!

After another very successful season in our breeding barn, as the most popular shuttle stallions head back to the USA, we draw a close to our 44th breeding season.
This year we have been blessed with an abundance of paddock feed and all mares are in great condition.
Most of the visiting mares have now departed the stud to spend the winter with their owners, before returning in just eight months to foal down and rebreed!!!
The yearling sales are prominent in everyone's mind at the moment and certainly we are keeping busy here at Success.
Several leading trainers from throughout Australasia have been to inspect our draft for this year.
We have only 8 days (from time of typing) until we venture to Melbourne with the first of the draft. Then a few days to catch our breath and head to Sydney for the final leg of the APG series for us.
Mark Hewitt is delighted with our Dawn of A New Day gelding (Lot 22 Ready To Run sale) and suggests he will trial in the next two weeks.
Oh Eye See (Paul Fitzpatrick and the Jay Jay Team), has already trialled and is on target for the major 3 year old filly races this season.
Two Eye See - has returned home to the stud in retirement - what a fantastic journey he took us on!!
Our Sixpence (Luke McCarthy) has won her last two races both in a smart 1:53.8 - we are pleased to announce we have an embryo from her due early September - this will be one of the first seasons foals by the brilliant Rock and Roll Hanover. We look forward to watching Our Sixpence racing with some of the best mares in Australia as the season progresses.
Missing Letters (Paul Fitzpatrick), belongs to Mary and is proving to be a 2 year old to watch with much anticipation.
Look forward to catching up with many old and new friends and clients at the sales,
Jackie
