Right From The Horse's Mouth!

SEPTEMBER 2010 News The Spring is here!! And what a spring it will be. Record breaking amounts of rain has fallen during the past month leading us into what will be a season to remember no doubt. Recently, we have returned from New Zealand after attending the Ian Dobson broodmare sale – pleased to announce our purchase of former race mare Muscle Beach. We sold this filly thru the APG Melbourne sale some four years ago for stud clients – and now she returns home to us. Along with Muscle Beach, the mare Crown Counsel (purchased by Emilio and Mary Rosita) will arrive on farm in the next week via IRT, both are in foal to boom stallion Christian Cullen. Foaling starts this week (yes, the hourly countdown is still on). There are some very excited breeders this month, with the early arrivals by such sires as Bettor’s Delight, Christian Cullen, Courage Under Fire, Kenneth J and Art Major. Our yearlings are growing extremely well and during October the APG team will commence the premium inspections. Until next month – Jackie
