Autumn seemed to just flash by and now winter wraps itself around us here in Young.

In recent weeks we've been exposed to some fantastic racing in both codes of our sport.

What a carnival Gai Waterhouse has had and not to mention the evergreen 'Smoken Up' wining the Len Smile Mile, at Menangle - AGAIN!!

On our own racing front, Missing Letters (Art Major/Postmark) has given us a number of wins and now heads to the NSW Breeders challenge series.

Interesting to note her big brother Major Post ran a very creditable 4th in the 3yo NSW Derby held during April.

Oh Eye See (Armbro Operative/Grace Robinson) came home for a brief 6 week let up and has returned to the Fitzpatrick stable for her 3yo leg of the Breeders challenge.

Our Sixpence now sets her sights on the Queen Of The Pacific pace in late May at Melton.

Weaning of the first draft of foals is set to commence this week, and general maintenance continues around the farm.
